She passionately followed her favorite bands and cheered on her beloved hometown Philly sports teams.
Where words fail, music speaks. It’s a universal language with healing power, washing away the dust on our souls from everyday life. Michelle touched our world with soft hands and a beautiful voice. She was kind, bubbly, sweet, and thoughtful. She passionately followed her favorite bands and cheered on her beloved hometown Philly sports teams.
It only takes a moment to make a moment, and Good times are when ya had ‘em. Life never gives. It merely lends… On Friday, July 31, 2026, the unthinkable became the unspeakable. Michelle, at just 41, passed away unexpectedly at home, and we immediately learned how difficult it is to love with grief.
Michelle was born in Willingboro, spent her formative years on “the avenues” in Riverside, and had been a Pennsauken neighbor for many recent years. She loved her job and spent her days moving around the area U-Haul locations working as a Traffic Control Manager. Michelle will fondly be remembered for her easygoing, selfless, and patient personality that warmed those around her.
Michelle will be deeply missed by her parents, Jerome LoPresti and Linda & her husband Bruce Smith. She is survived and will be sadly missed by her brothers Michael & his wife Liliana and Matthew & his girlfriend Ashley, as well as her nieces and nephews, whom she adored, Mikey, Aria, and Jackson.
Everyone is strongly encouraged to wear your Phillies, Flyers, and Eagles gear.
Relatives, friends, neighbors, and co-workers are invited to gather with Michelle’s family. We’ll come together to take comfort in each other with good music and good memories on Friday afternoon between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm at McGee Celebration Creran Funeral Home, 400 White Horse Pike, Oaklyn, where there will be a time of reflection, stories, and memories that will begin at 1:00 pm, during which those who wish to speak and share are welcome. We’re gonna celebrate the best way we know how. Everyone is strongly encouraged to wear your Phillies, Flyers, and Eagles gear. NO Cowboys gear is allowed! Stay home; we’ll be chanting the fight song. The time-honored tradition of reuniting those we love with nature will be held privately.
Please share your memories, photos, and stories of Michelle with us below.
