Laurie Ann Peterson, age 61, of Fort Myers, FL, passed away at her home on Friday, May 1, 2026.

Laurie was born in Neptune, NJ, and had been a National Park resident before moving to Fort Myers. She made her career working for American Water and finished her working years at PSG as a senior payroll specialist.

Laurie is survived and will be deeply missed by her husband, Ken Lee. She is also survived by her son, Ken Lee, III, her daughter Ann Marie Dosztan, and is the proud grandmother of Cheyenne Schmidt, Felicity Grant, James Schmidt, III, Devin Cheesman, Jaidan Bender, and great-grandmother of Aviana’ Marie Ortiz, Layla Wise, Evelyn Wise, and James Wise, IV.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather with Laurie’s family on Thursday evening between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm at McGee Celebration Etherington Funeral Home, 700 Powell St., Gloucester City. A graveside tribute will follow on Friday morning at 10:00 am at New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr. Following the interment, a Celebration of Life will begin at 12:00 pm at the National Park Boat Club, 57 Riverview Ave, National Park.
