It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of JoAnn Monteleone, who passed away at the age of 75.

Born April 20, 1951 – Passed April 20, 2026.

JoAnn is survived by her son, John Monteleone (granddaughter Brooklyn), and her two beloved grandchildren, Nathan and Bella, from her late daughter Jaclyn, who passed in March 2025. She is now reunited with her loving husband, John Monteleone, who passed away in 2013.

JoAnn had a deep love for family and life. She was known for cooking incredible Italian meals and for the special memories she created in the kitchen—whether it was her famous butter cake or the “boombox-shaped” birthday cakes she made for her kids and nieces when they were younger. She loved to dance; you could always find her on the dance floor at family parties or out with friends.

Her home was a place of love and laughter. She cherished hosting holidays, and many will remember Saturday nights spent around her living room table playing games with her children, their friends, her nieces, as well as other family members and friends who were like family. She enjoyed shopping and always looked forward to her annual family vacations in Wildwood.

Above all, JoAnn treasured being a grandmother. Nathan, Brooklyn, and Isabella (Bella) were the light of her life. Of everything she loved, her greatest love was her husband, John, and now they are reunited once again.

At this time, John asks for privacy as the family grieves.
